Mathiou Services are proud to be supporting the Community by sponsoring more than 100 local young people to battle it out at their annual Youth Olympics hosted by the Gold Coast Youth Hubs at the Palm Beach Aquatic Centre during January 2016.
he event, which brought young people of all backgrounds and cultures together, is hotly contested and hugely popular with the coast’s 12-17 year olds.
Wesley Mission Brisbane Coordinator of Youth Hubs Tina Adams said the Youth Olympics provided the perfect opportunity for young people to make new friends, experience new sports and be part of a team.
“Mathiou Services has supported all three Youth Olympics which we have put on. It is a wonderful day filled with lots of excitement, war cries, dances and friendly competition,” Ms Adams said.
