Forts have always been a fun place to hang out for kids in the day care centre. A fort is a place where a child use their imagination, making play out of nothing. Which is why having a fort at your childcare centre is a must, because it’s necessary for the growth of the children. There are lots of things that you can do to make your fort a more happening place for the children you are taking care of. So if you have a childcare centre and you have fort in there, then here are a few things that you can do to make it more interactive;
A climbing wall is a perfect way for the children to get physically active and mentally stimulated while scaling the wall, in a safe and controlled environment. This can be added to an elevated fort, giving the children another access point in the place of a set o stairs.
Letterbox is another addition you can make to the fort to make it more interactive for the child; a letter box will help them in developing their cognitive skills more elaborately. And as they are growing up, they will be ready to face all the mental challenges that are put in front of them.
Boat Wheel or Telescope
Adding an interactive element to the fort that doesn’t need anything more than imagination will keep the children entertained for hours. A Boat wheel or telescope added to your fort can change it from an ordinary fort in a child’s eyes to boat sailing across the seas.
Slides have become a rite of passage as a child grows up, and really is a must for any childcare centre. If your fort is elevated at your centre you can add a specific sized slide to make your slide more interactive and more fun for the kids.
